15. 05. 2026.President Juhász Attended the Opening of the 93rd International Agricultural Fair

Novi Sad, 15 May  – President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, dr Bálint Juhász, attended today the opening ceremony of the 93rd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, an event that traditionally gathers a large number of exhibitors from the fields of agriculture and agribusiness from around the world every year.

This year’s fair was officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Dragan Glamočić and the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, this year’s partner country of the fair, Martin Šebestyán.

The Czech Republic will present 12 companies engaged in livestock breeding, poultry meat processing, animal feed production, seed materials and alcoholic beverages production. Their exhibition stands will feature the famous Czech beer and specialties of Czech cuisine. Italy, Spain, Netherlands, the Republic of Srpska, Hungary and Montenegro will also present themselves through collective exhibitions.

The President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, also addressed the guests and participants of the Agricultural Fair, stating that few events in the region enjoyed the reputation and significance of that fair. She emphasised that the Provincial Government continued to strongly support the development of agriculture in Vojvodina through concrete measures and investments.

Thanking the exhibitors and institutions that supported the organisation and hosting of this year’s Agricultural Fair, the General Director of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, stated that for as many as 93 years, the fair had been a venue for the promotion of new products and scientific and technological achievements. He added that it contributed to strengthening international cooperation and that the current year’s focus was on digitalisation, new technologies and green initiatives. The Mayor of Novi Sad, Žarko Mićin, also addressed the guests at the opening ceremony.

The 93rd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad runs until 21 May and this year brings together 1200 exhibitors from 40 countries across approximately 50 000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space.
