During the meeting, indicators of economic activities were presented, including industrial production, foreign trade, labour market situation, and results in the agricultural sector.  It was emphasized that the total foreign trade in goods of Vojvodina in 2025 amounted to approximately EUR 23 billion, with exports reaching EUR 10.6 billion, having represented a 1.3 percent increase compared to the previous year.

President Juhász assessed that stable economic trends and continuous cooperation between institutions and the business sector were key to the further development of the Province.

“Economic results confirm the importance of Vojvodina as one of the economically most significant regions in Serbia.  It is important that we continue to strengthen cooperation with the business sector, support investments, and create a favourable business environment that will contribute to the creation of new jobs and the further growth of our economy,” Mr. Juhász stressed.

It was also highlighted at the meeting that agriculture remained one of the key sectors of the economy, given that Vojvodina accounts for more than one third of Serbia’s total agricultural exports, which amounted to approximately EUR 1.9 billion in 2025.  It was also noted that Vojvodina generated about 32 percent of the total exports of the Republic of Serbia, while Germany remained the Province’s most important foreign trade partner.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Juhász and Mr. Gak concluded that the analysis of economic trends represented an important basis for planning future development policies and making decisions that would contribute to the further economic progress of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
