Novi Sad, 10  March– President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint and the President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, held a regular working meeting today to discuss projects of strategic importance for the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the priorities in the work of provincial institutions in the forthcoming period.

Particular attention was devoted to further investments in the healthcare system, which remains one of the priorities in 2026 as well, for which RSD 3.76 billion has been allocated from the provincial budget. The meeting also addressed the handover of new ambulance vehicles and vehicles for transporting dialysis patients to healthcare institutions across Vojvodina, for which nearly RSD 225 million has been allocated.

Presidents Juhász and Gojković also discussed investments in culture, emphasising that the opening of the new building of the National Theatre in Subotica represented one of the most significant cultural investments in the region in recent decades.

During the meeting, Mr. Juhász informed the President of the Provincial Government about his participation in the recently held Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Southeast European countries in Budapest, dedicated to regional cooperation, European integration and regional stability. The interlocutors agreed that Serbia remained committed to its European path, although, despite the achieved results and implemented reforms, it was unfairly lagging behind in the process of the enlargement of the European Union.

The interlocutors agreed that the institutions of the Province would continue close cooperation in the implementation of projects important for the further development of Vojvodina and the quality of life of its citizens.
