19. 11. 2025.Juhász: The 8th Regional Business Forum as Platform for Growth and Partnerships

Novi Sad, 19 November - president of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina Juhász Bálint will participate tomorrow in the Eighth Regional Business Forum, to be held on 20–21 November in Novi Sad, organised by the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Assembly of European Regions (AER), in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina.

Over eight years, the Regional Business Forum has evolved into a leading business platform that annually brings together entrepreneurs, institutions, and organisations from across the region and Europe. This year, significant participation is expected from business delegations and companies from Turkey, France, Hungary and other European countries. Prominent regional companies, regional chambers of commerce, development agencies and institutions supporting SME development and the improvement of the investment climate will also take part.

President Juhász underlined that it is of great importance for the Assembly of AP Vojvodina to host this forum for the eighth time, particularly given that it is organised in partnership with the Assembly of European Regions (AER), of which Vojvodina has been an active and productive member.

“The Forum was initiated by the Assembly of AP Vojvodina and AER, and thanks to the strong support and organisational drive of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, it has grown into one of the most significant business events in the region. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina has provided the driving force that transformed this forum into a venue where concrete business agreements are reached, partnerships are formed and our economic potential is clearly demonstrated,” President Juhász noted.

On the first day, participants will take part in panel discussions covering key sectors, from the Danube as a tourism brand, through smart mobility and automotive industry, to the agri-food value chain, alongside the organised B2B meetings, which have traditionally resulted in new business arrangements.

On the second day, local self-governments from Vojvodina will present their projects and investment potentials, including those from less developed municipalities, which is vital for balanced regional development.

“The Forum connects people, ideas, and opportunities. On the second day, the municipalities of Bačka Topola, Irig and Zrenjanin will present their potentials, along with the municipality of Drvar. Our objective is to have a stable and evenly developed region.  This is why it is crucial that this forum provides a platform to present different local communities, not only the major urban centres. When national and provincial institutions, international delegations and local governments meet in the same room and exchange views, that is the best pathway toward concrete projects and new investments,” President Juhász concluded.
