21. 10. 2025.President Juhász at the Reception on the Occasion of Hungary’s National Holiday

Belgrade/Novi Sad, 21 October – President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Bálint Juhász, attended last night’s formal reception on the occasion of the national holiday — the Revolution and Freedom Fight of the Hungarian People in 1956, organised by the Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Serbia.

At the White Palace (Beli dvor) in Belgrade, high-ranking guests, representatives of the diplomatic corps, institutions and public life were welcomed by the Hungarian Ambassador, József Zoltán, who spoke about the historical significance of the revolutionary events of 1956, symbolising the struggle for freedom and democratic values.

On this occasion, President Juhász stated that the relations between Serbia and Hungary are an example of a stable and meaningful partnership, based on mutual respect, understanding and commitment to joint development.
