Novi Sad, 24 September– President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint attended today the official opening of the 56th International Hunting and Fishing Fair and Ecology Fair – “LORIST” and, together with President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, Minister of Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Sara Pavkov and General Manager of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, visited the exhibitors of this long-standing event.
„With over 50 years of tradition, this important fair reminds us of the vast and valuable natural wealth our province possesses, as well as how highly it is rated in the field of hunting tourism and hunting, not only in the country, but across the entire region,” said President Juhász, highlighting the words of his predecessor Pásztor István, who spoke about how LORIST every year reminded us of our duty to preserve and improve what previous generations had entrusted to us for the benefit of future generations.
President Juhász emphasised the importance of the international character of these fairs, noting that they provided an excellent opportunity for professionals, scientists and the business sector to come together in one place and reap the benefits of their cooperation, while showcasing the best of our province to the region. He invited citizens to attend this important event in large numbers, where over one hundred exhibitors were participating and to take the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in the fields of hunting, fishing and ecology. 
The 56th International Hunting, Fishing and Ecology Fair- “LORIST” was officially opened by President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, who pointed out that the event fell into the category of the largest exhibitions of its kind in Southeastern Europe.
“This fair is a place where tradition, knowledge and modern achievements in nature conservation and ecology come together. What is particularly important is that this year, LORIST places a special focus on ecology,” stated President Gojković.
