Novi Sad, 24 June - President of the Provincial Government Maja Gojković and president of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Bálint Juhász held today a regular meeting dedicated to a further collaboration of provincial institutions on implementation of strategic projects of importance to Vojvodina’s citizens and economy.
President Gojković and president Juhász discussed the agenda items for tomorrow’s AP Vojvodina Assembly session, which cover key aspects of the Province’s governance and development — ranging from the financial statement of the provincial budget, through amendments and adoption of spatial plans for special-purpose areas, to significant infrastructure, environmental and cultural projects. Special attention will also be given to the reports on the operations of provincial institutions, with the aim of improving transparency and efficiency of the public administration.
The discussion emphasised the importance of the ongoing cooperation between the Provincial Government and AP Vojvodina Assembly, to achieve the priority development goals of the Province. It was concluded that the cooperation to date has yielded visible results, particularly in the area of infrastructure and social project implementation, and a mutual willingness was expressed to further deepen and improve this collaboration.
The meeting was conducted in a constructive atmosphere, with a shared view that institutional stability and a partnership approach are key to enhancing the quality of life for all citizens of Vojvodina.
