14. 04. 2025.Juhász and Gak on a working visit to the Municipality of Bačka Topola

Bačka Topola/Novi Sad, 14th April - President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Bálint Juhász and President of Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce (VCC) Vladimir Gak have visited Bačka Topola today, and with the leaders of the municipality discussed the investment potential provided by the Industrial Zone in this town, as well as the opportunities and initiatives for further economic and business progress.

The focus of the visit was on plans to strengthen the local economy, and President Juhász pointed out in his address to the media that municipalities and local communities needed peace and development instead of anarchy.

“Interest in investing in the municipalities of Vojvodina is something that happens on a daily basis and president of the VCC, Mr. Gak and I want to make an even more concrete contribution to that.” We have jointly mapped certain local self-governments that have great potential and Bačka Topola certainly stands out there, but we will not forget Mali Iđoš or other settlements either. By working together, we can contribute a lot, bring in new investments, raise living standard of people and create new jobs,” stressed Mr. Juhász.

He added that he had been cooperating with the Industrial Zone in Bačka Topola for more than ten years, which has been almost completely used, but still has had room and potential for new companies.

“We want to encourage all municipalities to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the provincial and national governments through the budget, so that our local self-governments and communities can become a better place to live for everyone,” Mr. Juhász emphasized.

President of Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, Vladimir Gak, pointed out that the VCC prepared an overview of the level of development of municipalities in AP Vojvodina.

“We want to visit all the municipalities and talk about the development of industrial zones, potential needs for investments in order to have information for our businessmen and foreign investors,” explained President Gak. He added that Bačka Topola had great potential – with two key points the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway and the E 75 motorway.

“We have been informed about the capacities of the industrial zone and in the period ahead of us, the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina will commit to connecting potential investors and municipal representatives”, Gak said.

President of the Municipality of Bačka Topola, Adrian Satmari, emphasised that the strong economy in a local self-government implied a strong community as well. He presented comparative advantages of the Industrial Zone in Bačka Topola, adding that a contract had been signed with a Portuguese manufacturer of automotive parts which was to open its plant the following year and create new jobs.

Juhász and Gak, together with president of the Municipality of Bačka Topola, Adrian Satmari, president of the Municipal Assembly Saša Srdić and Municipal Council members, visited the “EM Commerce” factory, specialised in production of furniture and fibreboard materials.

The delegation then visited the “Usluga” company, specialised for 66 years in the production of funeral supplies. Being the leading Serbian producer in this industry, the company’s products are sold on both domestic and international markets.
