Senta, 21st March - President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, and President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Bálint Juhász, paid a working visit to the municipality of Senta today.
On the occasion, Ms Gojković and Mr Juhász, along with their associates and the Municipality President Hajnalka Burány, visited the “István Tömörkény” Primary School in Tornjoš, Senta Grammair School for talented pupils with the “Bolyai” dormitory, and the Senta General Hospital - facilities whose renovation, maintenance and equipment were financed and co-financed by provicial budget funds.
President Gojković pointed out that the priority of the Provincial Government‘s work was the construction of a new dormitory for the pupils of the Grammar school for specially talented pupils, where children from the whole Vojvodina studied.
“This is an extremely large investment and we will propose it to be implemented jointly by the Provincial Government and the Government of the Republic of Serbia. This project is important for the community, so that children who are extremely talented would stay in their country, and that is why we need to provide them with the same conditions as it is offered abroad”, stated President Gojković and added that a construction permit was obtained for the commencement of works. 
She mentioned that in August the Provincial Government allocated funds for the urgent repair of the roof of the school in Tornjoš, and pointed out that today it was agreed that the installation of a new floor in the gym would also be supported through the line secretariat.
As stated by the Provincial Government President, considerable funds have been invested in the General Hospital in Senta, and it was exactly during today‘s visit and a meeting with the Municipality management that the construction of a new pulmonology building was discussed.
President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Bálint Juhász, emphasized the importance of those infrastructure projects for the citizens of Senta, but also for the wider area, and thanked President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, and relevant secretaries, who supported previous projects and who would be partners in the implementation of the future ones.
“In addition to the reconstruction of the roof of the Primary School in Tornjoš, it is very good news that after a long time, the project of construction of a building with special facilities for talented pupils “Bolyai” is being completed, and will soon be put into operation. We also have a plan to build a dormitory for pupils, which will be intended for young people from all over Vojvodina, which will contribute to the growth of Senta into a real school center,” said President Juhász. He also concluded that with the construction of the pulmonology ward within the Senta General Hospital, health services would be raised to a higher level, and that solving issues related to the citizens’ health had always been the priority.
Vice Presidents of the Provincial Government - Provincial Secretary for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Community Róbert Ótott and Provincial Secretary for Health Milan Popov were also present during the working visit to Senta.
