Novi Sad, 18 December – President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint, held talks today in the Provincial Assembly with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina (CCV), Vladimir Gak, about activities that contribute to the improvement of the Vojvodina economy and economic growth.
President Juhász emphasised that the AP Vojvodina Assembly and the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina had been fostering a long-standing partnership and were closely cooperating through the organisation of joint activities, such as the Regional Business Forum, which was held for the seventh time this year, in cooperation with the Assembly of European Regions and relevant provincial institutions.
"The cooperation between our two institutions is logical and natural because we have the same goal, which is to improve the economy of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and therefore the entire Republic of Serbia. What the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina has been doing for 105 years is of immeasurable importance because, by representing the interests of businessmen and entrepreneurs, networking and connecting them, organising various education programmes, researching the market and providing information, it represents an inexhaustible source of support," said President Juhász, adding that this institution was a great driving force for the economy of Vojvodina.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Vladimir Gak, informed President Juhász about the latest economic developments in Vojvodina, stressing out that at a time when many countries were stagnating or regressing, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia were recording significant economic growth and assessing the economic and financial situation in the Republic of Serbia as stable.
He pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina would continue to be a gathering place for businessmen and would work to its full capacity to improve their knowledge and skills, as well as to provide them with full support in searching for potential partners both in the country and on foreign markets.
President Juhász emphasised that the AP Vojvodina Assembly, as has been the case so far, would be a reliable partner to the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina in their work, with the aim of further developing our province and economic and financial prosperity.
