Novi Sad, 25th November – The AP Vojvodina Assembly delegation has attended today, at the Provincial Government, celebration of the 106th anniversary of the Great People’s Assembly and its Decision on unification of Vojvodina and Kingdom of Serbia.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint, its Vice-Presidents Damir Zobenica, Aleksandra Maletić, Nemanja Zavišić and Boris Novaković and Secretary General, Sandra Stojković.
The President of the Provincial Government, Ms Maja Gojković, addressed the present and on this occasion, presented the greatest award in the AP Vojvodina - the “Mihajlo Pupin” Award, along with provincial awards to this year’s award winners in the field of economy, culture, education, sports and gender equality.
The winner of the “Mihajlo Pupin” Award is prof. Aleksandar Anđelković, Doctor of Science in the field of mechanical engineering, who addressed the present on behalf of this year’s laureates, thanking the Provincial Government for the award and stating it would be encouragement for his further work.
The winner of the provincial award in the field of sports “Momčilo Tapavica” is Borislava Perić Ranković, the Serbian table tennis player and Paralympic. The journal author and publicist Dušan Dejanac is the winner of the “Ferenc Feher” provincial award in the field of culture. The award in the field of gender equality “Milica Tomoć” was presented to Svetlana Marković, the founder of women’s association “Svilen konac-Obrovac”. The winner of the provincial award in the field of education “Đorđe Natošević” is Slađana Bodiroga, a Serbian language and literature teacher in the Grammar School and School of Economics “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” from Odžaci. The provincial award in the field of economy “Lazar Duđerski” was presented to the company “Šidprojekt” DOO Šid.
