Novi Sad, 23 October - A joint session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Provincial Government was held in Novi Sad today, where energy, agriculture, environmental protection sectors, infrastructure projects and improvement of cooperation were discussed.

At the invitation of the presidents of the two governments, the joint session was also attended by President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint.

President of the Provincial Government, Maja Gojković, said at the press conference that the political and economic situation in Serbia was discussed at the session.

“We agreed to seriously approach the creation of the budget for the year 2025, to complete joint projects and that all the projects we plan to launch in the future will be projects exclusively aimed at benefiting and improving the living standards of the citizens of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina,” Maja Gojković pointed out.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, stressed out that very significant investments were underway in all parts of Vojvodina and that the goal was the balanced development of the entire country. He added that 1.55 billion euros was the value of the projects that were being prepared as future investments in APV.

Mr. Vučević expressed the hope that joint sessions like that one would be held in the following periods as well, so that republic ministers and provincial secretaries could directly communicate and talk about all the topics important for that part of the country and emphasised that such meetings could be organised every six months.
