11. 10. 2024.President Juhász met with the delegation of the Hungarian-Western Balkans Business Council

Novi Sad, 11 October - President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint, received today the delegation of the Hungarian-Western Balkans Business Council, headed by its Vice-President, Imre Varga.

At the meeting held in the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, future cooperation with Hungarian businessmen and coordination of joint projects were discussed. As it was pointed out, a great potential existed for improving cooperation in the field of agriculture and the IT sector, as well as for providing support to companies for their presentation on the foreign market.

President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint, stressed out that in the forthcoming period, the goal would be to maintain existing partnerships and find new potential investors, as well as to connect the existing ones, given the significant interest on both sides.

"Continuous cooperation between the Vojvodina and Hungarian economies contributes to partnership and friendly relations and strong ties between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary. That is why it is our aim to always search for a space for expanding that cooperation in as many areas as possible and provide institutional and any other support to interested companies that will bring new investments, increase trade, but also share knowledge and experience, which is also of great importance," said President Juhász.

The members of the delegation of the Hungarian-Western Balkans Business Council agreed that the exceptional relations between Serbia and Hungary represented a good framework for increasing economic activities and expressed their interest in continuing to invest in Serbia. As it was stated, it is also very important to monitor investment flows in order to provide timely support to businessmen who want to expand their business operations.

The Hungarian-Western Balkans Business Council is an organisation that gathers the largest businessmen such as MOL, OTP, MVM and provides them with support in the form of information about the market, investments and business opportunities.
