Novi Sad, 30 September - President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Bálint Juhász attended today, at the Students’ Centre Europe - Európa Kollégium, the admission and contract signing ceremony for students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year.

In his address to students and guests, President Juhász noted that this students’ dormitory doors have now opened for the tenth time, which is a small jubilee and great success, since the Students’ Centre Europe provides working condition similar to those in developed European countries, and thus motivates and encourages students to remain here.

„Experience indicates that a great number of those who study in Novi Sad and live in the Students’ Centre Europe later return to their community, thus enriching it with their knowledge and work “, said President Juhász and added that life in Kollégium offers not only studying and development, but the creation of community and contacts which are important during the studies and later on in life.

President Juhász thanked teachers and all employees who dedicate great attention to programmes aimed at strengthening the community, preserving tradition and providing young students in Kollégium with a comfortable home, with suitable conditions for studying, relaxation and leisure.

„Novi Sad is one of the largest university centres in the region, and Kollégium plays an important role in motivating young people from Vojvodina to continue education.  The favourable price of accommodation is also not to be neglected, because we would not want housing costs to decide whether a student from the Hungarian community can go to university or not, “ said Juhász.
