Bačka Topola, 12 September - President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint attended today the ceremonial session of the Bačka Topola Municipal Assembly marking the holiday of this municipality, including the traditional multi-day event „Days of the Municipality of Bačka Topola“.
Congratulating the leadership and citizens the days of Bačka Topla Municipality, President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint emphasised that Bačka Topola was a good example of how a small community could be well developed and wide-ranging, as well as provide its residents with good living conditions and thereby keep them in that place.
„The existence of a developed industrial zone, two primary and three secondary schools, various cultural contents, as well as a favourable geographical position give Bačka Topola an excellent basis for further development and progress. I am convinced that the proximity of the highway that connects Serbia and Hungary, the border crossing and the completion of the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway will contribute to the fact that this place will attract even more investments year after year, which will provide the locals with even better living conditions, as well as make young people stay in Bačka Topola and contribute to its prosperity with their knowledge and ideas“, said President Juhász. He also pointed out the great importance of the completion of several capital investments both for Bačka Topola and for the surrounding towns.
The President of Bačka Topola Municipality, Szatmári Adrián, greeted the guests and thanked them for their presence, stressing that only with joint work and will they could continue to work on the development and improvement of that municipality, which experienced a great cultural, economic and infrastructural revival.
This year event „Days of the Municipality of Bačka Topola“ lasts from 11 to 15 September and during five days, the residents of this municipality and numerous guests have the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of cultural, gastronomic, concert, sports and other events.
The ceremonial session was presided over by the President of the Bačka Topola Municipal Assembly, Saša Srdić.
