Senta, 11 September - Today in Senta, President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint attended the official session of the Senta Municipal Assembly, which is traditionally held on the occasion of the Town’s Day and on the day when 237th anniversary of the Battle of Senta is marked.
While congratulating this holiday to the representatives of the local self-government and to all Senta citizens, President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly, Juhász Bálint noted that this municipality has a lot of potential and plans for further strategic infrastructural, economic and social development. He pointed out that the new President of the Senta Municipality Burány Hajnalka informed him of the goals and planned projects, which open great opportunities and outlooks for Senta.
“I am convinced that fresh energy, dedicated work and ambitious plans will contribute to the accelerated progress of Senta in the infrastructural, economic, touristic and every other aspect”, said Juhász and pointed out that the provincial administration will continue to be open and ready to cooperate and support municipal projects. 
The most prestigious town awards were traditionally given, at the official session, to the prominent individuals and organisations for contributing to the overall social, sport and cultural development of Senta through their engagement and achievements. The Provincial Secretary for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities - National Communities Ótott Róbert was also present at the official session which was chaired by the President of the Senta Municipal Assembly Veselin Petrović, while, in her opening speech, the President of the Senta Municipality Burány Hajnalka thanked the large audience who came to celebrate such an important date together with the hosts.
