Novi Sad, 11 July - The President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Juhász Bálint has met, at the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, with the president of that institution Boško Vučurević and his associates, at which occasion he was presented the trends of macroeconomic indicators in the AP Vojvodina for the first quarter of 2024.
President Juhász emphasised the immeasurable significance the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina has for the economy of Vojvodina, adding that detailed analyses and economic trends data available to the Chamber should serve as guides, both to companies and institutions that support their work.
Juhász stated that the AP Vojvodina Assembly and Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina had cooperated closely and efficiently before, as in the joint organisation of the Regional Business Forum and other activities, underlining it was his intention to ensure the two institutions continue relying upon one another in the future, with the aim of supporting the entrepreneurial sector and creating the positive entrepreneurial environment.
The President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly underscored the importance of organising conferences and fairs and participation of entrepreneurs, as they represent a significant platform for enhancing their business and creating new contacts.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina informed the president Juhász about the current activities and work of the Chamber, the forthcoming conferences and forums, initiatives and programmes being implemented, as well as about the cooperation developed with chambers of commerce in the country, region Europe and beyond.
In addition to the analysis of economic trends for the first quarter of this year, a presentation was also given on the state of affairs in divisions of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Agriculture Association, Industry Association and Service Association.
