Vice-President Aleksandra Djanković

Aleksandra Đanković was elected the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, at the constitutive session of the Assembly held on 2 June 2016.

She is a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia and member of the Deputies’ Group “Socialist Party of Serbia” in the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

She was born on 8 November 1987 in Novi Sad.

She completed the primary school in Ravno Selo and was the recipient of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić Diploma (Certificate of Excellence) and the Pupil of the Year title. She completed the Secondary Economic School "Svetozar Miletić" in Novi Sad with excellent grades. She completed Bachelor studies in 2009 at the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance of the Faculty of Economics in Subotica. In 2015, she completed her Master studies at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica and acquired the Master of Economics degree.

Her professional career started in 2009 at the PC "Srbijagas" in Novi Sad, where she was an intern in the Department of Finance. Having passed the traineeship examination, in the period from 2011 to 2013 she was assigned to the Office of the General Manager for Finance as an associate for finance. From 2013 to 2015 she worked for the company "South Stream doo" Novi Sad, the investor of the "South Stream" pipeline project in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as an associate for budget and finance. She performed the most complex tasks related to budgeting, financial operations and provision of funds for the project, as well as financial reporting to the "Gasprom" Group. She currently works for the PC "Srbijagas" in the Office of the General Manager.

In the Socialist Party of Serbia, she is, among other things, the Secretary of the Executive Board of the SPS Youth in Vojvodina.

She is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of the Russian language. She has successfully completed numerous seminars and trainings in the field of finances, communication, negotiation skills and leadership.
