Vice-President Aleksandra Maletić
Aleksandra Maletić was elected the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina at the constitutive session of the Assembly held on April 25, 2024.
She is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party and a member of the Deputies’ Group “ALEKSANDAR VUČIĆ – VOJVODINA MUST NOT STOP” in the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Biography
She was born on 2 January 1982 in Novi Sad.
She finished primary school and grammar school “Svetozar Marković“ in Novi Sad. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, at the Psychology Department. After the psychology studies, she attended training for psychotherapist at REBT- Associated Training Centre of Albert Ellis Institute in New York.
She is employed at the Administration for Property and Property-Legal Affairs. After an internship in the Health Centre of Novi Sad and passing the state examination in the Ministry of Health in 2010, she worked as a psychology counsellor in several organisations.
She joined the Serbian Progressive Party in 2009 and became a member of the Main Board in 2014. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Serbian Progressive Party.
She was elected councillor at the Assembly of the City of Novi Sad in 2012 from the list of the Serbian Progressive Party. She was a Member of Parliament of the Serbian Progressive Party during two terms; she was first elected Member of Parliament at the National Assembly in 2014 and again in the following term 2016-2020. While in the Parliament, she participated in the work of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction, Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and Culture and Information Committee. Furthermore, while she was a Member of Parliament, she was part of the Delegation of the National Assembly in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean where she chaired the Standing Committee on Dialogue among Civilisation and Human Rights and held the position of the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean. In March 2021she was elected the Vice-President of the Chamber of Regions of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. With this election she also became a member of the Bureau of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe on behalf of the political group European People’s Party.
In the 2020–2024 term, she was a Deputy and the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina from the electoral list “Aleksandar Vučić - For our children“.
