The Assembly Service

The Assembly Service is in charge of expert, administrative and technical and other tasks as required by the Assembly of AP Vojvodina and its working bodies, deputies, the Assembly President and vice-presidents, deputies’ groups at the Assembly, as well as other tasks in conformity with the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and other acts of the Assembly and its working bodies. Organisation and works of this service is regulated in the Decision on organisation and Work of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Service.

The Assembly Service activities are managed by the Secretary General of the Assembly.

OFFICE OF THE ASSEMBLY PRESIDENT

The Office of the President of the Assembly is responsible for the following tasks: studying the acts considered by the Assembly and other acts addressed to the President and Vice – Presidents of the Assembly; organising and coordinating the activities pertaining to cooperation between the Assembly President and Vice – Presidents  and the state and provincial authorities, international organisations and institutions; advisory activities that are important to the Assembly President and relate to their obligations in the Assembly and other authorities and organisations; organising business trips and public appearances of the President and Vice-Presidents of the Assembly; preparing material for talks of the President, Vice-Presidents and provincial deputies to be held with foreign delegations and guests from abroad; consultative and administrative tasks and other activities that are important in carrying out the tasks of the President and Vice – Presidents of the APV Assembly.

SECRETARIAT - GENERAL

The Assembly Secretariat - General carries out tasks that pertain to drafting acts enacted by the Assembly Secretary General, making strategies for improvement of the Assembly and the Assembly Service, making and preparing specific measures and activities with a view to facilitating work procedures and tasks within the Assembly Service, protocol activities.

DIVISION FOR PREPARATION OF THE ASSEMBLY AND WORKING BODIES SESSIONS AND INTERREGIONAL COOPERATION

Division for Preparation of the Assembly and Working Bodies Sessions and Interregional Cooperation carries out normative, legal, analytical and documenting, expert and administrative activities related to the preparation and holding of the Assembly sessions and affairs of the Assembly working bodies and deputies’ groups; obtains and prepares material for the Assembly sessions; processes acts adopted at the Assembly session and prepares their publishing in the “Official Journal of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina“; prepares and gives the deputies information related to holding of the Assembly sessions;  prepares and facilitates sessions of the working bodies and deputies’ groups; provides professional assistance to the deputies as regards application of the Assembly’s Rules of Procedure; carries out activities pertaining to establishing and improving inter-parliamentary and interregional cooperation and accelerating cultural and economic partnership development among the regions.

DIVISION FOR HUMAN RESOURCES, LABOUR AND LEGAL AFFAIRS AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT OFFICE

Division for Human Resources, Labour and Legal Affairs and Records Management Office is responsible for the tasks pertaining to human resources management; expert and operational, normative and legal, study and analytical affairs; it prepares general and individual acts’ proposals in the area of labour and labour relations; monitors and enforces laws and other regulations that pertain to the activities and labour relations of the Assembly Service and Assembly; prepares and develops staffing plan; analyses the staff needs for professional education and development purposes; keeps staff records; receives, opens and reviews mail;  classifies and records files according to their nature; receives, records, places and keeps confidential material and archival material; archives archival material.

DIVISION FOR FINANCIAL AFFAIRS, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

The Division for Financial Affairs, Information Technologies and Public Relations  is in charge of financial, documentation, information, administrative, expert and operational tasks; preparation of information, reports and analyses in the field of financial and material management; preparation of documentation and conducting public procurement procedures; carrying out related tasks pertaining to administration, programming and servicing; facilitating the application and development of information technology at the Assembly, organising press conferences and announcements of the Assembly and Working Bodies sessions; preparing public announcements, establishing and maintaining contacts with media, following and analysing domestic and foreign media; organising and coordinating preparation of the Assembly’s brochures and publications; uploading announcements, information, notifications  and daily activities of the Assembly to the internet site of the Assembly.
