Vice-President Snežana Sedlar

Snežana Sedlar was elected the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, at the constitutive session of the Assembly held on 2 June 2016.

She is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party and member of the Deputies’ Group “ALEKSANDAR VUČIĆ – SERBIA IS WINNING” in the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Biography

She was born in Odžaci, on 16 August 1960.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 1983.

She worked as the Head of the Personnel - Legal Affairs Section in the chemical industry "HIPOL" in Odžaci, a Secretary of "Hipol Coorporation" and the head of marketing unit. She is the president of the Managing Board of JSC "Hipol".

She worked as an advisor for minor offense proceedings at the Tax Administration Office in Novi Sad.

She worked for the National Employment Service Novi Sad as Head of Section for Unemployment Insurance and Legal Protection. On 8 July 2017 she took the position of the Director of the Provincial Employment Service of the NES.

She was a Member of Parliament at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the period 2008-2012.

In 2011 she was elected the President of the Municipal Assembly of Odžaci.

She is a councillor of the Serbian Progressive Party at the Municipal Assembly of Odžaci and vice-president of the Municipality Board of the Serbian Progressive Party in Odžaci.

She speaks Russian and has a working knowledge of the English language.

She has a daughter Sonja, who is a Bachelor of Political Sciences.
